Have you ever wondered how scientists know about the plants and animals that lived a long time ago and have since gone extinct? They know by studying fossils, of course! Fossils are impressions of living things in mud that eventually became rock. In this engaging, hands-on STEM activity, we will learn about pre-historic life forms, paleontologists and make our very own fossils to take home.
