Calling all book nerds! Our graphic novel book club is back! Join us in our beautiful backyard for a socially distanced gathering to discuss this month’s title, Bloom, written by Kevin Panetta. Join our virtual Happy Café – a space to discuss and encourage the importance of happiness and mental well-being via the 10 Keys for Happier Living, outlined by the international organization Action for Happiness. This month will be focused on the fourth key: awareness. Have you ever wondered how scientists know about the plants and animals that lived a long time ago and have since gone extinct? They know by studying fossils, of course! Fossils are impressions of living things in mud that eventually became rock. In this engaging, hands-on STEM activity, we will learn about pre-historic life forms, paleontologists and make our very own fossils to take home.
