Read to our wonderful volunteer dog! Reading to a therapy dog is a great opportunity for children who are learning to read or need practice reading. Join Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art educator Melinda Laz for and interactive online art workshop for kids. Participants will view artworks by artist Paula Gasparini Santos, who writes and uses her own poetry in many of her paintings. Participants should bring a favorite poem or short piece of writing (from a book or other source) to the workshop - it will serve as inspiration for the art project that we will create together!

Join us to kick off our mySummer program with puppeteer Katy Williams! Katy will perform a magical story using her traveling shadow puppet theater called a "crankie" and then will help you make your own shadow puppet theater to keep! Sarah is a former Disney Imagineer who loves to teach kids about artists and their art.

For this program, Sarah will be teaching us about Mary Blair, who was a big influence in the world of Disney.

We will create our own masterpiece and have time to ask her all of the Disney questions we can think of!
