Join us for an hour of mindfulness that is perfect for the whole family. We will share contemplative stories, explore different breath techniques, and move our bodies mindfully in a fun and playful yoga practice with yoga games. He will discuss his book Everything is Connected and talk about how the book was made, the relationship between himself and illustrator, and how everything around us is connected. We will have a pizza dinner after the presentation!  Appropriate for kids in grades 2-5.

Strum, beat, and play your way through the Swallow Hill Music Instrument Petting Zoo! We provide a hands-on experience for kids and adults – led by our knowledgeable staff of “zookeepers.” The entire family can try out ukuleles, hand drums, guitars, mandolins, banjos, fiddles, mini-pianos, and more. We provide the instruments and you provide the curiosity.

Local expert Carl the Computer Guy will lead this workshop on how to build a computer from scratch. Each family will get the opportunity to build their own computer from scrap parts and learn the best techniques to build custom computers at home. Space is limited; registration required.
