Dress up as your favorite Anime or Manga character and show it off to other enthusiasts! Intended for grades 6-12.

Finish your month of family reading with a professional storyteller. Elsa Wolff’s unique blend of stories, songs, and puppets will delight the whole family. Refreshments will be served and you can pick up your Readtoberfest goodie bags too.

Scary stories for grades 5 through 8. These stories are way too scary for little kids, so leave your younger brothers and sisters at home!

Celebrate the end of Readtoberfest with a special morning filled with snacks, stories, and crafts. We will have a parade of costumes throughout the library at 11:30 am.  Readtoberfest participants can return their calendars for goodies that are fun for the whole family.

Sing, dance, play games and learn how to play some basic instruments. Geared for kids 3-6 years old, but all ages are welcome. Space is limited; registration is required.

Family Place Libraries™ is a network of children’s librarians nationwide who believe that literacy begins at birth, and that libraries can help build healthy communities by nourishing healthy families.

Parents and caregivers with children ages 0-3 are welcome to sign up for this five-week series beginning October 14. Participation will be limited to 12 families. Different childhood experts will be on hand to talk to parents and play with children. Each week, new learning and exploration activities will be offered.
