Therapy dogs provide a safe, non-judgmental audience for kids to practice their reading out loud. Bring a book you’ve been working on or choose from one of ours. Read to one of our patient, furry friends provided by Therapy Dogs Boulder County. This program is appropriate for ages 4-12. Space is limited, registration is required. On the day of the event, registered participants will sign up for a 5-15 minute session during the program on a first come, first served basis.

Do you want to help your grandparent, or other loved one, share their stories about growing up in the neighborhood? Are you a recent transplant, drawn to Denver from far away? Come tell us your tales, learn the basics of effective interviewing, and help us build an archive of oral histories for the library’s local history exhibit and for StoryCorps, a project of the US Library of Congress. Part of the Perl Mack Museum Project, a year-long program to develop a museum exhibit by, for, and about our community. 

New time! Sing, dance, play basic instruments and move creatively. Appropriate for kids ages 2-6. 

Share time with your little one at your local Anythink with songs, rhymes and stories for babies and their caregivers. Appropriate for ages birth-23 months. No registration required.
