Over the past month of staying at home, my 4-year-old, Lilah, has asked me a lot of questions. We have explored dozens of animals, from the mucus of a tree frog’s foot pads to the mysterious tusk of the narwhal. Lilah has wondered why a volcano "interrupts," how rocks have sparkles, and why she can’t eat the boozy cookies I made the other night. Yes, I have even been graphically asked about how babies are made.

Roll-up those sleeves and join us for another edition of shop class at Perl Mack. This month, we’re making bird houses. Best for upper elementary ages and tweens, and all skill levels are welcome. Materials will be provided.

Bring out your inner artist and join us for an art project led by the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. Participants will be able to take home their masterpieces and all materials will be provided.

No passport needed for this inter-continental journey. Join us as we explore cuisine and culture from around the globe. Each month we’ll be “traveling” to a new country – this month we’re headed to Ireland! Come prepared to whip-up some delicious eats, learn new things and make friends.
