Reminiscent of popular TV cooking shows, participants will be given a mystery box that contains several ingredients. How will you creatively incorporate them into your dish? Meet up virtually on cooking day to discuss your dish. Supplies are limited and participants will be notified on how to pick up their mystery box ingredients in the days before we cook. Spaghetti noodles and your Nona’s bolognese for a Sunday dinner is a perfect combination. But what if we swap the sauce out for tartar sauce? Together we will explore what foods will and what foods will not spaghetti. Appropriate for students in grades 6-12.

Let’s warm our insides with this fun sandwich made with turkey, cranberry sauce, cream cheese and maple syrup. We’ll put everything together and  cook it up on a waffle iron. This program is intended for kids in K-5th grade. Space is limited; registration is required.

Elbow macaroni in a gooey cheese sauce is a beautiful thing. But what if you swap out that gooey cheese sauce with hot fudge? Together we will explore what foods will and what foods will not mac and cheese. Students in grades 6-12 welcome.

No passport needed for this inter-continental journey! Join our ongoing series of exploring cuisine and culture from around the globe. Each month we “travel” to a new country – this month we’re headed to China. Come prepared to whip up some delicious eats, learn new things and make new friends.
