Join national recording artist Wayne Watts for his monthly good-vibes-only social music jam. Collaborate with Wayne and other teens to create a unique electronic music track and then enjoy the party. Work with Wayne and prepare to participate in our upcoming performances. Snacks will be provided. Appropriate for teens in grades 6 -12. Drop in; no registration required.

Therapy dogs provide a safe, non-judgmental audience for kids to practice their reading out loud. Bring a book you’ve been working on or choose from one of ours. Read to one of our patient, furry friends provided by Therapy Dogs Boulder County. This program is appropriate for ages 4-12. Space is limited, registration is required. On the day of the event, registered participants will sign up for a 5-15 minute session during the program on a first-come, first-served basis.

Get up-close and personal with insects, spiders and other arthropods from around the garden and the world. Explore the amazing world of insects including body structure, insect life cycles, habitats, adaptations and the role insects play as pollinators and recyclers. Refreshments will be served. The Ant Space is an ant habitat and mesmerizing art installation by Jacob Lemanski on display at Anythink York Street March 9-30. Watch as live ants dig in their space, creating tunnels lit by colorful LED lights. Their digging keeps the scene in perpetual motion, changing at the pace of nature.
