This monthly morning book club has a very different style. We choose a theme for the meeting and you choose the book you want to read based on that theme and everyone discusses their choice. This month’s theme is a book about science or by a scientist. Celebrate our mySummer initiative by learning something new about our incredible world.

Appropriate for adults. No advanced registration necessary.

Learn the basics of hand dyeing textiles with natural materials easily found in your kitchen. Beet, turmeric and onion skins can yield beautiful and varied results. Use the real tools and techniques that paranormal researchers employ to observe, study and fake ghostly visitations. Record EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) and analyze your results for messages from beyond. Then, use a variety of analog and digital trickery to make your own spirit photographs.
