Join our Happy Café – a space to discuss and encourage the importance of happiness and mental well-being via the 10 Keys for Happier Living, outlined by the international organization Action for Happiness. This month’s gathering will be focused on the fifth key: Trying Out (new things). Together, discover new ways to build joy and create a more caring world. Space is limited; online registration is required.

This program will be held outside at Anythink Wright Farms with distancing measures in place. Please note that this program may be moved indoors due to inclement weather.

For this program, we've invited The Meet Cart (powered by Betterish) to help us connect, reflect, and have fun by crafting Kindness Cards. Using DIY techniques, design yourself a personalized pack of cards that will serve as reminders, prompt an action, or simply encourage you to pay-it-forward. Together, discover new ways to build joy and create a more caring world.

It’s not a stretch to say that Americans are suffering from unprecedented amounts of anxiety in 2020. COVID, job insecurity, loss of work, politics, a discussion about systematic racism, political upheaval ... all of these things have been thrown at us this year in an unending hailstorm of change and stress. It’s an anxious time to be a human being. It’s an especially anxious time to be an American.

I remember where I was the day Columbine happened. Anyone in Colorado on that fateful day will know where they were when the massacre happened. I was struck by the thought of finding out what the perspective would be on the other side of the coin. I discovered I had never really given any thought to what the parents of a murderer might be feeling or what their perspective might be.  My first thoughts would be along the lines of "What kind of parents raise someone like that?", assuming part of the responsibility must lie there. That's what makes some sense of the unthinkable. On som

In celebration of Anythink's upcoming screening of Loving Vincent, join Violet Hive Art for an introduction to art therapy. Learn about the connections between creation and mental wellness, participate in several artistic exercises and make a piece of art inspired by Van Gogh's style, all facilitated by professoinal art therapists.
