This two-part class will explore the various processes and techniques involved in creating detailed scientific paintings and the ways in which biological research specimens can be used for artistic expression. Participants will have the opportunity to complete an acrylic painting while observing real zoological specimens including tropical butterflies, bones, feathers, and natural objects. Space and supplies are limited; registration preferred.
