Join us every Tuesday for our fun, free, movies and gaming. We'll provide the popcorn, and you can just sit back and enjoy. In March, we'll be showcasing the first two movies in the Ice Age series.

This is a drop off period. Leave your documents with Adams County tax preparers and their volunteers and pick up your completed form the next week.

To qualify for free income tax preparation of basic taxes and free electronic filing taxpayers combined income must be $50,000 or less.
Please bring the following:
A copy of last year’s tax return
Social security cards for yourself and your dependents
All W-2s, 1098 and 1099 forms
Proof of any other income received
Any deductible expenses
Any booklets sent to you from the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Colorado

Come to the library during Spring Break and join the fun! We will have a different activity every day. All ages are welcome.

 March 25: Get your gaming on with our Wii and Kinect. Feel free to bring your ‘E’ games to play.

 March 26: That loveable pigeon from Mo Willems’ books will play hide and seek in the library.

 March 27: Come try your hand at solving a mystery, presented by the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. This program requires registration.

 March 28: Get your craft on. We will have a simple fun spring craft.

 March 30: Bored? Not with our board games.

Got a technology question? Just ask the Huron Street Tech Guide. Visit the table near the front door to ask a technology question. If you have a question about an electronic device, bring the device and cords with you. No registration necessary. All ages welcome.

Explore, create and try something new. What will you do after school? Join us every Monday at 3:45 for a new adventure. Grades K-3 welcome.

  • Mar. 4: Play It - What’s your favorite game? Play your favorite board and video games and learn some new ones.
  • Mar. 11: Cardboard Creations – Use cardboard and other recycled materials to create a game or toy.
  • Mar. 18: Make It – Create a unique sculpture using tissue paper and wire.
  • Mar. 25: Build It - We provide the Legos and building blocks; bring your imagination and see what you can create.

Google does many things beyond email. Come learn about Google Drive, including how to create different types of documents and how to share these documents with others. A Google account will be needed to work with these programs. Registration suggested, but not required.

Drop in for pizza and a play. We sit around the table and read a Shakespeare play…while munching on pizza. It almost always takes two nights to finish one play. No special skills are required and laughter almost always ensues. The magic of the bard reaches across the ages every time. Any and all adults are invited to come.

You can be a DJ! Using our laptops, big screen, and sound system we'll log into turntable.fm to make our own virtual dance party and take turns being the DJ. There will be space for real dancing as well. Grades 6-12 welcome. Space limited; registration recommended.
