What Floats Your Boat

What makes a boat float? Design small boats out of aluminum foil to explore how their size and shape affects how much weight they can carry. Can a boat be made to float 10 pennies? Fifteen pennies? Twenty? The challenge is on. Appropriate for all ages. Space is limited; registration is required.

Join us for a special concert by an award-winning children's musician and artist. Gustafer Yellowgold is the brainchild of singer and illustrator Morgan Taylor, who accompanies Gustafer on various adventures that appeal to both kids and grownups. The New York Times described Taylor, who as an adult rocker has shared bills with the Smithereens and Bob Dylan, as "a cross between Yellow Submarine and Dr. Seuss."  This event will be held in the Rosa Auditorium, adjacent to Anythink York Street.
