TAB teens are leaders in the library community that run their own classes, events, and philanthropy projects -- all while earning community service hours for graduation. Therapy dogs provide a safe, non-judgmental audience for kids to practice their reading out loud. Bring a book you've been working on or choose from one of ours. Read to one of our patient, furry friends provided by Therapy Dogs Boulder County. This program is appropriate for ages 5-12. Space is limited; registration is required. Upon arriving, participants will sign up for a 10-15 minute session (depending on demand) with the dog on a first come, first served basis.

Calling all homeschooling families! Help us support your family's educational and social goals. Parents will network with each other, and work with the York Street youth services guide to plan future homeschool meetups, activities, and classes tailored to your needs. This month, homeschool kids will get to touch, play, and experiment with York Street's collection of tech-toys. Appropriate for homeschooling caregivers and their children. Space is limited; registration is required.
