Therapy dogs provide a safe, non-judgmental audience for kids to practice their reading out loud. Bring a book you’ve been working on or choose from one of ours. Read to one of our patient, furry friends provided by Therapy Dogs Boulder County. This program is appropriate for ages 5-12. Space is limited, registration is required. On the day of the event, registered participants will sign up for a 5-15 minute session during the program on a first-come, first-served basis.

Practice drawing fundamentals and experiment with techniques in a relaxed, friendly studio. Mediums include graphite pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, chalk pastel, and oil pastel. Appropriate for adults and teens in grades 6 and up. Drop in; no registration required.

Have you ever wanted to try yoga but felt a bit unsure where to start? Join us as we learn basic poses that promote strength, flexibility, and stress reduction in a supportive environment, guided by yoga instructor Sara Walsh. The last session, on the 28th, will be 75 minutes and accompanied by relaxing live music and ending with a gong bath meditation. Appropriate for adults and teens ages 16 and up. Space is limited; registration is required.

Join this teen-run club that explores the world of anime and Japanese culture. Learn basic Japanese phrases from our Artist in Residence, Sanami, watch your favorite anime, and enjoy Japanese snacks. Appropriate for students in grades 6-12. No registration required.
