mySummer Kicks Off June 4 at Anythink Libraries

mySummer begins June 4 at Anythink

mySummer: Read Think Do is back at Anythink, guaranteeing Adams County’s most creative summer yet. Anythink’s unique summer reading program promises to engage library customers of all ages. Sign up is available now at anythinklibraries.org, and the program runs June 4-July 31, 2011.

Record Your Summer

Participants are encouraged once again to set their own goals and define their own summer experiences. After customers sign up for mySummer online, they will receive their very own mySummer book beginning June 4. They can choose from two cool formats and begin recording their booklists, summer goals, poems, photos – whatever their creativity inspires. That’s the best thing about mySummer – people can make it what they want it to be.

mySummer Programs

Anythink’s unique programs are at the heart of mySummer. With over 200 programs scheduled, there is something for all ages and interests. These outstanding programs are hands-on, creative and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun. LEGOs for Grown-Ups gives adults time to play and build; Anythink Superhero participants will design their own superhero – sidekick, superpower, arch nemesis and all. Battle Cars will have participants of all ages building their own cars and obstacle courses, and then sending them into battle. And those are just a few of the incredible programs customers will find at Anythink during mySummer.

Click here to sign up today. Some programs do require individual registration via our online calendar. Appropriate for ages birth to 100.
