Family Place Libraries™ is a network of children’s librarians nationwide who believe that literacy begins at birth, and that libraries can help build healthy communities by nourishing healthy families. Parents and caregivers with children ages 0-3 are welcome to sign up for this five-week series beginning March 10, 2010. Participation will be limited to 12 families. Different childhood experts will be on hand to talk to parents and play with children. Each week, new learning and exploration activities will be offered.
Next
month’s selection can be picked up at the library so that you can read it
before the meeting. Some titles are available in large print and audio formats
too.
