This class will cover how to navigate using Internet Explorer, search engines such as Google, and related terminology. Basic computer skills required.

Drop in anytime between 9:30-11 am to experience a new interactive approach to story time. Come with your little one (18 months to 5 years) to enjoy one or all of our stations that will feature a book and meaningful activity for you to share together. We’ll show you how to nurture all six of the skills identified to be key in developing reading readiness.

After several months of renovations, Anythink Washington Street, located at 8992 Washington Street in Thornton, Colo., will open for its debut on Friday, Jan. 28, from 4-7 pm. Guests can enjoy music provided by children’s choral group Sounds of Joy along with refreshments and crafts for all ages.

Jan. 5: Birdfeeders – Winter is the season for birds to get a little hungry if they haven’t migrated. Make a birdfeeder to hang in your yard and enjoy the birds that stay in Colorado over the winter.

Jan. 19: Pasta Snowflakes – Even if we’re not having a ton of snow, you can still design your own snowflake with painted pasta and Popsicle sticks. Hang a little sparkly glamour in your window and wish for the best.
Jan. 26: Soap Snowmen – It is surprising what you can make when you have a lot of grated white bar soap to work with. We like snowmen, but you may sculpt something else equally wonderful and useful in the shower, too.
