The goal is to write a 50,000-word novel by 11:59:59pm on Nov. 30. Join others in literary abandon throughout the month of November. No registration necessary.

Nov 26 – Build It: We provide the Legos and building blocks; bring your imagination and see what you can create.

A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children up to 4 years old and their parents. Five different centers will be set up reflecting each early literacy skill. This class will cover flash drives, browsers and email. Create an email and then see what fun things this email can do in everyday life. We’ll also give tips on how to sort and organize your files. Registration suggested, but not required.

Children in elementary school are invited to read to our wonderful dog volunteers on the third Saturday of each month. It’s an excellent program for children who are learning to read or need practice reading. Our patient dogs love to listen and they never criticize.
