A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children through age 6 and their guardians. Five different centers will be set up reflecting one of each of the early literacy skills. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together twice during the hour for a group movement or story activity.

  • Nov 4: Move It – Let’s get moving! Try some tricky movement challenges and games.
  • Nov 18: Dinosaur Dig: Create a dinosaur fossil, dig for dino bones, and discover fascinating facts about your favorite prehistoric creatures.
  • Nov 25: Build It – We provide the Legos and building blocks; join us each month for a new building challenge.

Experience the wonder of ballet as dancers from the Colorado Ballet Studio perform excerpts from ballets based on the classics. Share in excerpts from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcrackers and others. Following the performance, attendees can participate in an interactive dance exercise taught by professional ballerinas. “From the Page to the Stage” will be held in the Rosa Auditorium, adjacent to Anythink York Street on the Mapleton Skyview Campus. Appropriate for all ages. No registration required.
