Grow your garden: The Free Seeds & Transplants Program
In collaboration with Denver Urban Gardens, Anythink is providing free seeds and transplants to individuals, families, schools and community organizations based on annual adjusted gross income levels in order to ensure that everyone has access to healthy food. If you're interested in receiving these seeds and transplants, visit your local Anythink and ask for the Free Seeds & Transplants application. This year, each household can receive up to seven seed packets and four sets of transplants.
Below are the annual income limits per household to qualify:
1-Person Household: $44,750
2-Person Household: $51,150
3-Person Household: $57,550
4-Person Household: $63,900
5-Person Household: $69,050
6-Person Household: $74,150
7-Person Household: $79,250
8-Person Household: $84,350
If you're interested in seeds for a school or community organization, please contact a staff member directly for more details.
Please fill out your application before Jan. 29, 2016, and turn it in to any staff member. Due to strict deadlines, we will not be able to accept late applications.
Seeds should be available for pickup by March 15, 2016. Transplants should be available by mid-May after the last frost. Recipients will receive a phone call or email when the seeds and plants are available.
