A fluffy pancake in the morning is part of a perfect breakfast. But what if we change that traditional pancake into a nacho cheese flavored pancake? Discover and decide what flavors will or will not pancake. Join other teens in a virtual meetup where we will test out our new pancake flavors together. Appropriate for teens and tweens. Space is limited; registration required.

Use pH paper to determine the pH of various household substances. Stop by Anythink Brighton to pick up everything you’ll need to participate. Then, join us for a virtual science experiment with our partners at 4-H. Appropriate for students in grades 3-5.  

Supplies are limited and can be picked up at the Anythink Brighton branch starting Monday, March 8; registration required before pick-up. This program will be held online via Zoom.  A link to the meeting room will be sent out via email to registrants. Everyone is welcome to sit in, but please only register once per household.

A sugar cookie is a delightful, sweet treat. But what if we take regular frosting and make it pickle flavored? Discover and decide if various flavors will or will not frosting. Try it at home, then connect with other teens creating their own frosting flavors in a virtual meetup. Appropriate for teens and tweens. Space is limited; registration required.

Who says that homemade gifts are just for humans! Who doesn’t love a tiny hat? This week we are going to decorate tiny hats for our pets both big and small! Then join our teen Discord and show off your pet rocking their cool new hat. Kits available for pick-up at Anythink Huron starting Feb. 22nd. Appropriate for teens and tweens. Supplies are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis.

Grab one of our hair kits so you can express whatever weird and confusing vibes you have left about 2020. Best for students in grades 6-12. Kits available for pick-up at Anythink Huron on Dec. 16th. Mailing a letter to an elected official is a wonderful way to get your voice heard. Join Lighthouse Writer’s Workshop to get your cause on paper. Then, add some eye-catching art to your postcard with a little help from the Clyfford Still Museum. We will provide the stamp and get your postcard mailed. This program is drop-in; come and go as you please. Appropriate for kids in grades 3-7.
