Therapy dogs provide a safe, non-judgmental audience for kids to practice their reading out loud. Bring a book you’ve been working on or choose from one of ours. Read to one of our patient, furry friends provided by Therapy Dogs Boulder County. This program is appropriate for ages 4-12. Space is limited, registration is required. On the day of the event, registered participants will sign up for a 5-15 minute session during the program on a first come, first served basis.

Join Perl Mack’s offsite, monthly book club at Bruz Beers, where we’ll toast to Coloradan-authored books of all genres with thoughtful discussion. Appropriate for ages 21 and up only. Drinks available for purchase. Bruz Beers is located at 1675 West 67th Ave. in Denver, Colorado.

Please check in at the Children’s Department for a reading time.
