I was looking around my bedroom the other day and thinking “We should repaint this.” Our bedroom is currently a lovely light lavender-grey, a color picked not even two years ago. There isn’t anything wrong with it. In fact, it’s barely been up long enough for me to dislike it or grow sick of it. And yet, I’m incredibly ready for a change. In fact, in every room of my house, I’m longing for something new to look at. We don't want to move, but we need things to look different.

Creativity invents a universal language that connects people of different backgrounds. Our virtual songwriting workshop specializes in providing best practice strategies on how to collaboratively write songs while also creating a space for aspiring creatives to meeting up with professional musicians. 

This program will be held online via GoToMeeting. A link will be sent out via email to registrants two days before the program. This program is appropriate for ages 11 and up. This is a two session series.

This class will introduce students to the dance form breaking, commercially known as “breakdance.” Through movement, participants will develop basic skill in the form as well as a deeper understanding of the social, political, and economic climate that led to its creation. This class encourages students to experience Hip-Hop’s historical context through multiple learning techniques.

This program will be held online via GoToMeeting. A link to the program will be sent out via email next week to registrants. Everyone is welcome to sit in, but please only register once per household.
