Harry Potter’s pet owl Hedwig was loved by all. However, they never talked about what Hedwig did in her off-time. Join us as we learn about the digestive systems of owls by dissecting actual owl pellets. Will you be able to recreate the mouse that Hedwig ate for dinner earlier this week? This class will introduce students to the dance form breaking, commercially known as “breakdance.” Through movement, participants will develop basic skill in the form as well as a deeper understanding of the social, political, and economic climate that led to its creation. This class encourages students to experience Hip-Hop’s historical context through multiple learning techniques.
