Join national recording artist Wayne Watts for his monthly good-vibes-only social music jam. Collaborate with Wayne and other teens to create a unique electronic music track and then enjoy the party! Snacks will be provided. Appropriate for teens in grades 6 -12. Drop in; no registration required.

A year ago, I lost my father. I don’t mean he was misplaced or that he’s wandering about in a hedge maze or anything – he died. It wasn’t a surprise, he’d been sick for a while. But it was terribly sad. Obviously. In the year since, my family and I have grieved his loss and celebrated his life in a number of different ways. I’ve discovered a sort of atomic half-life of influence he had on me, most surprising of which is just how much of a literary impact he made.

Aspiring musicians: Hang out with DK (aka Wayne Watts) from Firelane Music & Media Entertainment to learn how to master the stage. Practice recording and producing your music. Learn how to hone your stage presence, promote yourself on social media and develop your network. All abilities are welcome, whether you’re putting the finishing touches on a track or have never recorded before. Appropriate for teens.

Experience a special evening performance by Denver’s After Midnight Jazz Band, with roots in the Benny Goodman sextet tradition, and featuring award-winning clarinetist Roger Campbell. Appropriate for all ages.
