This month, we will be joined by the Ni Shang Dance Academy as they show us how to do the Peacock Dance, a traditional Chinese Folk dance. The Peacock Dance is the most famous dance in the Dai Minority area, located in Yunnan Province, China. In the Dai culture, the peacock is a symbol of beauty, happiness, and luck. Join us for an hour of mindfulness that is perfect for the whole family. We will share contemplative stories, explore different breath techniques, and move our bodies mindfully in a fun and playful yoga practice with yoga games.
