Learn basic sewing skills while you make your own to-go version of Tic-Tac-Toe. All participants will be able to take their creations home with them.
Join us in this series geared especially for homeschool families. This month, we’ll explore physics as we make marble runs out of upcycled materials. Adults are encouraged to network and share best practices, while the kids work on their 21st-century and STEM skills.
Children in elementary school are invited to read to our wonderful dog volunteers. They join us on the third Saturday of each month. This is an excellent program for children who are learning to read or need practice reading. Our patient dogs love to listen and they never criticize. Are you hungry for good books and good food? This month we will be reading the Storm Runners by Roland Smith and then make food to go along with it! Please see a staff member for a copy of the book. Appropriate for kids in grades 4-5.
Learn yoga through stories, songs, and movement activities. Little yogis will practice breathing exercises and have time to get creative, too. This program is intended for kids 3-8 years old, but older and younger participants are welcome to attend.
