What makes our garden grow? You! Join members of Anythink York Street’s Teen Action Board as we work in our garden plot. Help us grow fruits and veggies and participate in teen farmer’s markets. All are welcome, and gardening work can count toward community service hours for graduation. Appropriate for tweens & teens in grades 6-12. No registration required. This event will take place at the community garden adjacent to the Anythink York Street library.

Vermiculture – worm composting – is an easy way to make your own nutrient-rich fertilizer while reducing food waste. Learn about the wormy, squirmy ins and outs of developing a vermiculture system as you build your own to take home. Part of Anythink’s Dig It series. Best for teens through adults.

This will be a makeup session for the program that needed to be canceled on Thursday, March 14th due to a snowstorm. However, you're totally welcome to register for this new session even if you weren't signed up for the previous one!
