In Snapology’s Developing Engineers program children will build super-cool models that use gears, axles and levers. Students will work in teams under guided instruction to build cars, merry-go-rounds, go-cart and catapults. Appropriate for engineers ages 8-12. Space is limited; registration required. Test your engineering skills, learn new skills, battle it out and make new friends. Each participant will make their own robot and test them out in the Battle Royale Arena – a shrinking play field. This multi-player showdown will make for nothing short of a great time. Best for upper-elementary ages, tweens and teens.

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science comes to the library with this hands-on game of geographic discovery and real-world ingenuity. Teams will be challenged to power cities across Colorado while balancing energy needs with environmental impacts and cost. Colorado’s future is in your hands! Best for elementary school aged kids and tweens.
