Contemporary Classroom brings Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art’s exhibitions to the library with information about artists working today, and a hands-on art making workshop. This program is appropriate for children ages 7-12.

Have you ever wanted to know more about folk herbalism to support in taking care of your kids? Local birth doula, Alana Watanabe, will lead this workshop on DIY home herbalism. Topics discussed will include earache oil, immune booster syrup, and upset tummy tea. We will craft these recipes together and each family will take home samples. No registration is required.

Navajo weaving has captivated people for generations, and it’s no wonder why! Join us as we use looms to weave our own symmetrical mini-rugs in the fashion of the Navajo tradition.
