Explore historic Bromley Farm and learn about Brighton’s agricultural history in the rooms where it happened. Tour the farm with Lou Ellen Bromley, learn how to make Irish soda bread and shamrock butter with Lilly Steirer of Slow Foods Denver, and take part in a craft project to commemorate the day. This event will take place at Bromley Farm/Koizuma-Hishinuma Farm, located at 1594 E. Bromley Lane in Brighton. All ages welcome.

Have you ever wanted to be a vendor at a farmer’s market or sell the goods you make at home? Discover the important details of the Colorado Cottage Foods Act with the experts at CSU Extension. During this course, you’ll learn the food safety guidelines required to operate a small home-based cottage food business, including storage, transport and sales. Attendees who participate in this course and pass a test will meet the training requirements for the Colorado Cottage Foods Act and earn a 3-year certification. Appropriate for adults. Space is limited; registration required.
