Marma Designs & Sewing School hosts this beginner’s sewing class for kids ages 8-11. Learn the basics of sewing, including how to properly thread and safely use a sewing machine, troubleshooting, layouts, measuring, and fabric cutting. Participants will come out of the class with a new garden apron. Fabric and materials provided. Bring your own machine or use one of ours. Space is limited; registration recommended.

Dive into the world of printmaking by stamping your very own fabric patch that promotes positivity and self-expression. Experts from the Butterfly Pavilion will be our guides as they introduce us to live invertebrates from around the globe and teach about their characteristics, where and how they live, and why they are important in our world. This program is part of Dig It, Anythink’s month-long celebration of gardening, backyard farming and more. Space is limited; registration encouraged.
