Bored with your gym routine and home workouts? Learn how to move more creatively and have fun while you sweat! This month, we will be joined by the Ni Shang Dance Academy as they show us how to do the Peacock Dance, a traditional Chinese Folk dance. The Peacock Dance is the most famous dance in the Dai Minority area, located in Yunnan Province, China. In the Dai culture, the peacock is a symbol of beauty, happiness, and luck. This program will be held online. Join us for an outdoor hour of movement as Yoojung from the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company teaches us how to combine street-style dance with playful movement as we groove to hip-hop beats. Wear comfortable clothes that will allow for movement and dress in layers. Join us for an outdoor hour of movement as Samiyah from the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company shows us how to celebrate the culture of West Africa through dance. Get ready to learn traditional West African dance elements and the meaning behind the movements.

Wear comfortable clothes that will allow for movement, and dress in layers. Masks are encouraged and physical distancing measures are in place. All ages and abilities welcome.

Get swept away in the fast-paced world of Irish step-dancing as the Heritage Irish Step-dancers awe us with a special performance. Try out some moves of your own after the performance. Part of our Taste the World series, this program will expose us to Ireland without having to leave Colorado. Appropriate for all ages.
