We'll use wooden wheels, scrap wood and all sorts of cool junk to create your very own rolling toy. Turn it into a car, bus or anything you'd like to see roll! Taught by shop founder, Delanie Holton-Fessler. Delanie is a lifelong crafter with adoration for utilitarian handcraft. 

Appropriate for ages 5+. This program will be held in the glass conference room at Anythink Wright Farms.

Stand back – these coasters are lit! Make your own one-of-a-kind tie dye coasters using Sharpies and fire. Please note that this program may be canceled due to inclement weather or cold temperatures. One kind word can change someone’s entire day, so spread kindness by giving away some hand-made delights to see the difference you can make. Each kit contains everything you need to create three one-of-a-kind greeting cards that you can personalize with your own thoughtful messages. Kits can be picked up at the Anythink Wright Farms branch. No registration required; supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

In this family-friendly online program, participants will be given blank cards, art supplies and other materials to create their own postcards with an inspirational message. Hot cocoa and treats will be included. Pick up your kit at Anythink Bennett between 2/1 and 2/19. All ages welcome.

Join BMoCA Educator Melinda Laz for a video demonstration and interactive online art workshop discussing BMoCA's Spring 2020 exhibition Night Reels: The Work of Stacey Steers. Artist Stacey Steers is known internationally for her process-driven, labor-intensive animated films composed of thousands of handmade works on paper. The exhibition featured several of her films, sculptures, installations and collages. For this program, a video and art project will be presented online that you can watch and create in the comfort of your own home. 

A live video chat via Zoom will follow on Friday, Jan 29 at 4:00pm, during which questions can be asked and answered, additional demonstration can occur, and participants can chat or share their work with BMoCA Educator Melinda Laz. Registration will be limited to 20 participants; Registrants will be provided with necessary art supplies to create their project (available for pick-up at the Perl Mack Branch). Local piñata maker extraordinaire Maribel Arredondo of Mamibel Piñatas leads us through the process of creating our own candy cane holiday piñatas. The program will be held online using GoToMeeting, and supplies will be available to pick-up from Anythink Perl Mack beginning on Wednesday, December 2. A link to the program will be sent out via email to registrants. Supplies are limited and registration is required. One piñata supply kit per registration.

In this virtual monthly, family-friendly program, we will lead you through a craft project and provide the opportunity to share your work with the group. Fifteen craft kits will be available on the 6th at Anythink Bennett on a first-come, first-served basis. This month we will create 3D greeting/holiday cards. This program will be held online using GoToMeeting. A link will be sent via email in advance of the program.
