Mailing a letter to an elected official is a wonderful way to get your voice heard. Join Lighthouse Writer’s Workshop to get your cause on paper. Then, add some eye-catching art to your postcard with a little help from the Clyfford Still Museum. We will provide the stamp and get your postcard mailed. Come together in civic community, be inspired and encouraged to reflect and connect, and create new civic traditions that are joyful and communal. Through songs, readings and discussions, local artists, community members and Anythink staff will share inspiration on the theme of civic resolutions: How can we individually and collaboratively contribute to the communities where we live? This event is free and open to all.

This gathering is hosted in conjunction with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Census 2020 and Adams County Elections. Attendees will receive vouchers for 50 percent off upcoming performances of the play twenty50 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Refreshments will be served. To help us provide refreshments and accommodations, please register in advance.

Sign language interpretation will be available.

Civic Saturday was started by Citizen University in Seattle and is now hosted in more than 30 cities across the country.
