Anythink York Street offers a monthly morning book club with a very different style: we choose a theme for the meeting, and you choose the book you want to read based on that theme. Each person discusses their choice. It’s a fun way to discover new authors and books while reading a title that speaks to you. Bring your pick and a morning beverage, and we’ll talk books. This month’s theme: books with a one-word title. Appropriate for adults. No registration required.

How do artifacts help to tell the story of history? We tend to think of history as centered on the lives of influential people, but in this workshop we’ll examine the past through the life of things. Working as historical detectives, we’ll piece together the past by examining artifacts that clue us into Adams County history. Part of the Perl Mack Museum Project, a year-long program to develop a pop-up museum exhibit by, for, and about our community.
