Anythink Trail Clean-ups Scheduled for July 31, 2010

After a summer of exploring destinations in the imagination with mySummer, Rangeview Library District’s Anythink libraries has organized two trail clean-ups to be held in Brighton and Thornton as a way for library staff and customers to give back to their local communities. From 9-11 am on Saturday, July 31, clean-ups are scheduled at Veterans Park in Brighton and Niver Creek Trail in Thornton.

Veterans Park Clean-Up

Participants will meet in the Veterans Park parking lot at 405 W. Bridge Street at 9 am to help with litter collection and trail maintenance. Bags and gloves will be provided.

Niver Creek Trail Clean-Up

Participants will meet at Anythink Huron Street, located at 9417 Huron Street, at 9 am to help with litter collection. Bags and gloves will be provided. Keep Thornton Beautiful is also participating by providing gloves and safety vests for volunteers.
