Anythink Promotes Logan Macdonald to Collection Development Manager

Anythink Libraries announces the promotion of Logan Macdonald to Collection Development Manager. Macdonald was previously Collection Development Librarian, a position he held since joining the organization in 2008.

“Logan brings a wealth of experience and passion to this position,” says Lynda Freas, the director of Family Library Services. “He’s already initiated exciting developments for the department, and we know he will continue to be a huge asset to Anythink.”

Macdonald began his library career more than 15 years ago with King County Library System in the Seattle area. Prior to joining Anythink, he worked for the University of Washington Libraries, Ryerson University in Toronto, and the Montrose Regional Library District in Colorado. In 2007, Macdonald served on the Board of Directors of the Montrose Chamber of Commerce. He earned his MLIS from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008 and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of Anythink’s WordThink classification system.

“I am excited to be a part of the Anythink story,” says Macdonald.  “I look forward to serving our customers with new and interesting books, CDs, and DVDs.”
