Anythink participates in Operation Free Bird

For the second year in a row, Anythink will participate in Operation Free Bird, an annual event hosted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office to help families in need around the holidays. At Operation Free Bird, community members are invited to sign up for an Anythink card, participate in interactive activities or check out Anythink in Motion, the district’s bookmobile. Anythink staff will be on hand to discuss resources, services and programs available through the library.

“We’re excited to again be participating in Operation Free Bird,” says Kathy Totten, Anythink York Street manager, who is helping facilitate Anythink’s involvement. “This is an excellent opportunity to connect with our community and help families in need.”

Operation Free Bird takes place on Nov. 14, 2015, from 12-4 pm at the Water World parking lot located at 88th and Pecos streets in Federal Heights. The event is supported entirely through sponsors and donations. Community members interested in donating are encouraged to visit operationfreebird.com for more information.
