Anythink to participate in Operation Free Bird

For the third year in a row, Anythink will participate in Operation Free Bird, an annual event hosted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office to help families in need during the holiday season. At Operation Free Bird, community members are invited to sign up for an Anythink card, interact with staff and check out Anythink in Motion, the district’s bookmobile.

“Anythink in Motion will be at Operation Free Bird, and we are so excited to meet people in our community,” says Kathy Totten, Anythink York Street manager. “We can provide library cards for those who need one, and will have fun activities for all.”

Operation Free Bird takes place on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, from 12-4 pm at the Water World parking lot located at 88th and Pecos streets in Federal Heights. The event is supported entirely through sponsors and donations. Community members interested in donating are encouraged to visit adamssheriff.org/ofb for more information.
