To promote community health and wellbeing, Anythink will launch Renew, a community wellness experience for staff and customers, hosted Oct. 18-Nov. 12. This fall initiative offers strategies that support all aspects of wellbeing, tailored to the participant’s individual needs and goals. Beginning Oct. 1, Anythink customers can register online at anythink.renewmyway.com to set up a profile and focus on their individual wellness goals. From Oct. 18 to Nov. 12, participants will log different activities based on their goals, all designed to boost happiness, create calm, sharpen focus, pursue purpose or increase energy. Using either the online platform or the Renew app, individuals can share and receive support from a wider community through a moderated message board. To complement the experience, customers are also invited to attend a wide variety of wellness programs at their local Anythink. Renew is intended for individuals ages 18 and older.

Anythink annually hosts similar wellness programs for staff, designed to support and encourage physical and mental health. This is the first time the organization has extended this type of initiative to be available to the greater public. In doing so, Anythink aims to foster a sense of health and healing for the Adams County community, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am excited for our first-ever wellness program aimed at supporting the overall wellbeing of our community and staff,” says Susan Dobbs, assistant director at Anythink, who is leading the initiative for the district. “This last year highlighted how vital it is to take care of ourselves and each other. Renew supports everyone’s personal journey and specific health goals. I encourage the community to join us on this wellness journey.”

Upcoming programs include everything from after-work yoga sessions and applied mindfulness to opportunities to learn helpful skills like the KonMari method and Feng Shui. Additionally, Anythink will host a special guest keynote speaker on Saturday, Nov. 6. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Registered Renew participants can visit their local Anythink branch to receive a free wellness notebook. This notebook can be used to set and track goals, take notes or journal. Notebooks are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
