Creativity takes center stage at The Studio Maker Fair, a free, all-ages event at Anythink Thornton Community Center on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At The Studio, attendees can explore hands-on activities, connect with the team, and experiment with equipment designed to turn ideas into reality.

The event features interactive mini-workshops where participants can craft their own candy boxes, design laser-cut phone stands, or personalize reusable tote bags. A vibrant craft market will also showcase local makers and artists offering one-of-a-kind, handmade goods for sale.

“The Maker Fair is a chance to celebrate our community’s creativity,” said Mo Yang, The Studio Manager at Anythink. “Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned creator, there’s something at The Studio to spark your imagination.”

That spirit of discovery and collaboration is central to the experience.

“We love seeing people light up when they try something new,” said Studio Specialist Cela Janiec. “This fair is about exploring, learning, and enjoying the process—as well as uplifting local entrepreneurs and inspiring the next generation of makers.”

Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy food and drinks from local vendors and get a firsthand look at the tools and resources available year-round at The Studio.
