Anythink Foundation’s Sparkopolis returns on Sept. 7

On Sept. 7, 2019, community members and library supporters are invited to celebrate 10 years of Anythink at Sparkopolis, a one-a-kind fundraiser for the Anythink Foundation. At this Anythink-style gala, participants will enjoy an evening of whimsical experiences and entertainment while helping to support special programs and projects in the community. Held at Anythink Wright Farms, the library will be transformed into a “playground for the senses,” with high-caliber, interactive experiences provided by special community partners, including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Alt Ethos. Food will be provided by Corrida, named one of the region’s best restaurants by 5280 Magazine. Tickets are on sale now at anythinklibraries.org/sparkopolis, with discounted tickets for Anythink Foundation members. More details on special Sparkopolis experiences and partners to follow in the coming weeks.

“Not only will this be a fabulous party to raise money for a great cause, Sparkopolis provides a venue to highlight partners past and present as we celebrate 10 years of Anythink,” says Stacie Ledden, Anythink’s director of innovations and brand strategy. “It's been 10 years of helping kids fall in love with reading, supporting people of all ages in their learning endeavors, building community, inspiring creativity and improving the quality of life for Adams County residents. In 10 years, the library has become the heart of the community. We’ve done this through partnerships with artists and organizations – along with our incredible staff and community – and we’re excited to tell this story while also enjoying art, music and libations with our Anythink Foundation supporters.”

In September 2009, the Anythink brand was launched along with the opening of the Anythink Brighton library. Since then, Anythink has grown to become one of the most recognized library systems in the world. In 10 years, Anythink has hosted over 15,000 children’s programs, loaned out more than 20 million items, and welcomed over 12 million people through its doors.

To celebrate this milestone, Anythink is hosting a variety of outreach and special events this summer and fall throughout Adams County.
