Anythink Foundation to Participate in Colorado Gives Day

On Dec. 10, 2014, the Anythink Foundation joins hundreds of other Colorado nonprofits in celebrating Colorado Gives Day, a statewide initiative to increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Community members can show their support for the Anythink Foundation by donating online via ColoradoGives.org. Funds raised through Colorado Gives Day help the Anythink Foundation to support programs and services at Anythink in four key areas: capital projects, public art, expansion of collections and exceptional programs and activities.

Interested supporters can visit ColoradoGives.org and search for the Anythink Foundation. There they will learn about how the Foundation supports the Adams County community and can set up a one-time or recurring donation.

Some of the past projects the Anythink Foundation has supported include Explore Outdoors at Anythink Wright Farms, the first installation of Anythink’s collaborative public art project, “This is Who We Are,” and visits from authors like Eric Litwin. The Anythink Foundation also helped raise money while bringing the community together during the first annual Backyard Concert Series this summer at Anythink Wright Farms.

Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, Colorado Gives Day inspired Coloradans to donate $15.4 million in 2012. The goal of the project is to inspire and unite Coloradans in supporting local nonprofits.

Supporters of the Anythink Foundation can give all year long via the ColoradoGives.org site or at anythinklibraries.org/donate-now
