Anythink Communications Director Stacie Ledden Receives "Mover & Shaker" Award

Anythink Communications Director Stacie Ledden has been named a “Mover & Shaker” in the library industry by national publication Library Journal.

In its March 15, 2013 issue, Library Journal named 50 outstanding professionals committed to providing excellent service to meet their needs of the people they serve. Ledden was selected because of her effective and out-of-the-box approach to marketing and outreach, highlighted by her role in Anythink communications and the inaugural 2012 R-Squared Conference.

“Stacie is a brilliant example of a trailblazer in our profession who does whatever it takes to accomplish a goal,” says Anythink Director Pam Sandlian Smith. “Helping to shift perceptions of the library profession is a challenge of both creativity and innovation. Stacie has what it takes to move our profession forward.”

Ledden was one of four Coloradans to receive a 2013 Mover & Shaker award from Library Journal. Other winners include:

  • Richard Lyda, outreach services librarian, Arapahoe Library District

  • Melissa Zymboly Depper, child and family library services librarian, Arapahoe Library District

  • Jennifer Hoffman, manager of books and borrowing, Denver Public Library
