Farmers Markets

Healthy Farmer's Markets

Healthy Farmers Markets return in 2023 to Anythink Huron Street and Anythink Wright Farms.

Hosted in conjunction with City of Thornton, Adams County Health Department, Adams County Human Services Department, the American Heart Association and East Denver Food Hub, Anythink hosts a weekly farmers market at its Anythink Huron Street and Anythink Wright Farms locations. Working with local farmers and food producers, the Healthy Farmers Markets are committed to making healthy, fresh produce options accessible and affordable to all in the community. Attendees can learn more about foods and nutrition and access community resources.

East Denver Food Hub, the Healthy Farmers Market farm booth, brings in fresh, local produce from over 50 farmers, prioritizing working with farms owned or operated by Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) individuals, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, or those new to farming. A large part of EDFH's mission is to pay farmers fairly for their labor and crops. Because of this, and because of other factors like weather, pests, and other conditions, prices often change week to week, and may be higher than grocery store prices. To make the produce more accessible, the Healthy Farmers Markets offer a $20 produce voucher to qualifying individuals. Please visit their website to learn more.
