BMoCA Presents the Art of Stacey Steers

Join BMoCA Educator Melinda Laz for a video demonstration and interactive online art workshop discussing BMoCA's Spring 2020 exhibition Night Reels: The Work of Stacey Steers. Artist Stacey Steers is known internationally for her process-driven, labor-intensive animated films composed of thousands of handmade works on paper. The exhibition featured several of her films, sculptures, installations and collages. For this program, a video and art project will be presented online that you can watch and create in the comfort of your own home.

A live video chat via Zoom will follow on Friday, Jan 29 at 4:00pm, during which questions can be asked and answered, additional demonstration can occur, and participants can chat or share their work with BMoCA Educator Melinda Laz. Registration will be limited to 20 participants; Registrants will be provided with necessary art supplies to create their project (available for pick-up at the Perl Mack Branch). This free program is generously sponsored by the SCFD. While we are physically distant, we can still be socially close! For questions, contact Mandi at mmiller@anythinklibraries.org
