The library will provide a t-shirt for you, or you can bring your own favorite t-shirt to color. If you bring your own shirt, however, bring another clean shirt to change in to, as you will be putting your colored shirt into a bag to take home.

Join Nature’s Educators as they teach us about animals that may star in your worst nightmares! They will be bringing some scary, interesting friends for us to meet, including cane toads, pigeons, scorpions, tarantulas or snakes.

Appropriate for all ages. No advanced registration necessary. 

Join Mile High Fitness and Wellness for a relaxing hour of stress relief through meditation and gentle movement in our beautiful backyard! We will combine mindfulness, breathing, movement and guided meditation. Appropriate for all experience levels. Provided by the Tri-County Health Department, everyone is invited to this walk-in vaccine clinic. No appointment necessary. Vaccines are free and available to attendees regardless of insurance or immigration status.

This clinic will offer the Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines. You must be age 18 or older to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is a single-dose vaccine. You must be age 12 or older to receive the Pfizer vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine is a two-dose vaccine, and you will be given your follow-up appointment once you receive your first dose. 

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

Please wear a short-sleeved shirt, and be prepared to wait 15 minutes after you receive your vaccine.

Ever wonder how paleontologists know so much about ancient times and dinosaurs? Now's your chance to re-create the lost worlds of Colorado with fossil evidence just like the scientists do! Using materials from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, we'll use fossils to uncover and dig deep into the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Pleistocene eras of Colorado's history. Appropriate for ages 7-11. Space is limited; registration required. 

Write your own story! Painted rocks will be available for free play in our backyard. Each rock will have a picture on it. Arrange and rearrange them to make your own story.  This is a passive program; all are welcome to work on it. For kids of all ages. No registration required. 

Let your creativity shine—no matter your skill level—as Disney animator Jason Zucker gives you step-by-step instruction on how to illustrate your own version of a popular Disney character! Scheduled character is Baby Yoda (subject to change).This program will be held at the Anythink Huron Street library and Mr. Zucker will join us from Orlando through a Zoom link.
