Led by a working author in partnership with Lighthouse Writer’s Workshop, explore elements of poetry like rhyme, rhythm, meter and stanzas. Then, create poems in different forms like haikus, sonnets, sestinas and free verse throughout the month with the opportunity of a final showcase. Appropriate for kids grades 3-5. Curious about how the celestial sky looked like on a day that was special to you? Join us as we use Stellarium software to research what constellations and astronomical events happened on that day. Afterwards, capture your findings on a personalized constellation board using a canvas and LED lights.
