Curbside services in 5 easy steps

While Anythink libraries are closed to the public due to COVID-19, you can still get all of the great books, movies and more with our curbside services. Here's how you get started.

How to Use Curbside Services in 5 Easy Steps

1.  Log in to your library account at anythinklibraries.org. To do this, go to the login link and click on Library Catalog Account. Next, enter your card number and password. If you need help with logging in or resetting your password, please call your local branch. Next, use the search function to find the materials you would like to put on hold. You can search by general, titles, author, subjects and series. For example, you might type "State of Wonder" for a title, “Deepak Chopra” for an author, "Amazon jungle" for a subject, or "Dragon Masters" for a series. When you find what you are looking for, click on the red bell icon that says "Place a Hold." Do this for as many items as you want.

2.  You will be notified – through a call, text or email from Anythink – when your holds are ready to be picked up.

3.  Once you have been notified, meet us at the Anythink location indicated during our curbside service hours. Each library branch has designated parking spaces, as well as a walk-up area, for curbside services. Call the number on the sign at your curbside spot. An Anythinker will answer and ask for the following details: your curbside parking space number, name and library card number. They will then pull up your account and find your holds.

4.  We bring out the materials to you. These will be neatly packed in a bag and placed in your open trunk for a no-contact delivery. If you don’t have a trunk, you can lower the back window, and we will put it in for you. For walk-ups, your materials will be delivered to you at our designated curbside services location near the front doors. When was the last time you got to pick up library materials in your pajamas?

5.  Repeat!
